Program
Paye’s Place Basketball Program is excited to announce their Coach
Certification Program. This program is for men and women interested in
being either a head coach or assistant coach at Paye’s Place and/or
for those wishing to become qualified coaches for high school coaching
positions. In order to coach basketball at the high school level you must
meet certain minimum standard requirements. This program will provide
a Coaching Standards Gold Certification to each coach that completes all
levels of the Paye’s Place Basketball Coaching Certification Course
that exceed those minimum requirements.

• Game Management Plan
• Club Offense – zone & man to man
• Club Zone Defense – 2/3
• Club Man to Man Defensive Terminology
• Club Press Break
• Club Offensive Out of Bounds Set
o Baseline
o Sideline
o End line
STRENGTH AND AGILITY TRAINING by Paye’s Sports Performance
• Dynamic Warm-Up
• Safety and Mechanics of the correct way to warm your athletes
up
• Make your Warm-Up More than a Warm-Up
• Injury Prevention and What to look for while warming up your Athletes
• Time Management of your Warm-Up
SILVER CERTIFICATION:
All Bronze Certification components plus:
CPR AND FIRST AID CLASS or proof of current status
GOLD CERTIFICATION:
All Bronze and Silver Certification components plus:
HIGH SCHOOL CERTIFICATION TEST – ONLINE
Completion of the Gold Certification course will qualify the individual
to coach at any California high school as well as Paye’s Club Basketball
Programs.
Cost of course: $225.00 to complete all components of
the course. To enroll you need to provide a $100 minimum deposit *(Bronze
certification), a valid California ID and be prepared to comply with the
requirements for a background check (Live Scan Background Check). Please
call if you have questions.
* note: Coaches hired by Paye's Place will either will receive a $100
rebate or fee will be waived.

Rd. (near Hwy 101 & Holly Street)
Bronze Certification Dates (Choose one):
Saturday, February 26, 9am to 12pm
Saturday, March 5, 9am to 12pm
Additional dates by reservation.
Silver Certification: Dates and locations TBA
Gold Certification: Dates and locations by appointment
Available coaching positions: Paye’s Place is interviewing
coaches (men and women) for their Paye’s Club AAU Basketball Spring/Summer
Program. Coaches are required to complete the Bronze Certification to be
