Rookie Basketball LeagueRookie Basketball League at Paye's Place is for K-2nd graders. This is a great place to start learning the game and playing basketball. Ages: K, 1st and 2nd grade Season: March, April & May Practices: Fridays: 4pm-5pm and Saturdays 10am-11am. There will be two one hour practices each week. During practices players will be taught ball handling skills, shooting skills and dribbling skills. Practice Games: Sundays: twice each month TBA. Two practice/pick-up games will be held each month. Practice games will give players the opportunity to put their skills together and learn the fundamentals of a basketball game. This will be a teaching style practice game to give the players a chance to become comfortable with the concepts of game play.
